Rich, warm, and animalic with a honeyed, resinous depth — labdanum is one of the most complex single-note raw materials, sitting at the intersection of amber, leather, and beeswax. It has a dark, slightly musky sweetness with a balsamic, woody undertone and none of the synthetic sharpness found in many amber substitutes. A prestige base material designed in Grasse, it is slow to open and long-lasting.

Works well in:

  • Soy and paraffin candles — rich, slow throw; performs best as an anchor in warm, resinous blends

Our fragrances are vegan and cruelty-free. We do not conduct animal testing and fully support alternatives that eliminate the need for it.
How long can I store your fragrance oils?

Fragrance oils typically have a shelf life of about one year, depending on factors like time, temperature, and exposure to air or light. For best results, we recommend buying only the amount you’ll use within 6–12 months.

The longevity of a fragrance can also be affected by its raw materials. Oils with a higher percentage of natural ingredients may expire more quickly. To preserve quality, store your fragrance oils in a cool, dark place away from heat and light.
Can I mix fragrance oils?

Yes, blending two or three fragrance oils can be an easy and cost-effective way to create unique and appealing scents.
